I have really bad credit and want to get a first mtg of only $10,000 to $15,000 – does anyone know where I can get such a thing? I need the loan to be for 10 years.

First place to try is your bank. If they won’t do it, go to other banks. I can’t really see a mortgage company doing a loan for that amount. It’s very low. They banks would be your best bet.

Sorry, but in this economy there is no way you are going to get a mortgage for that small amount with poor credit, and not for 10 years.
