   If you have a bank account (and have had it for more than a year), your bank may be willing to give you a personal loan (but this will depend on your credit and some other criteria, determined by the bank itself). It is not that easy to get a personal loan for more than $5,000 (even with good credit).

   No one is going to give you a loan without a credit check except Big Al and his interest rate and collection methods are pretty tough.
