I found the perfect car for me on autotrader.com , however I can’t find anyone to finance me. I tried several places but they just referred me to dealers in my local area.

Good luck with that one, if it’s a private party and your credit is trashed the only chance you have might be a credit union if you are a member but even that isn’t likely.
Best chance you have is to go through one of those shady used car dealerships or getting a cosigner but I understand if that isn’t an option for you.
I’m assuming it’s your debt-to-income ratio that is making things difficult, you may want to consider bankruptcy.
