I am working and my girlfriend doesn’t… we’ve just bought a flat and since we are no longer together she’s suggesting that we sell it which I am not happy with.
Since she doesn’t put any contribution, I’d like her to just leave it with me unfortunately we signed the contract together as a JOINT.
I now need to know how to approach both her and the bank on leaving the property to me.
When we applied for the property she was added as a housewife and the bank is aware she doesn’t work.

You can ask her to sign a quit-claim to the property and then refinance the loan but as long as she is on the loan and the title, there is nothing you can do. You actually need a RE lawyer, this is not something you can fix on your own.
