Has anyone ever been unable to pay on a payday advance loan? What happened as a result?

Did you stop payment on the check or cancel your bank account? Or were you able to work out an agreement with them? I am unable to pay the fees or the balance and I do not know what to do.Your experiences could help.

I had the same problem and I called the payday advance place and they said that there was nothing that they could do. If I didn’t come into make payment then they would submit my check for payment. Well they did submit my check and I only had half of the money needed to clear the check in my bank account so the bank gave them the rest of my money and an insufficent funds fee plus a returned check fee. And the fees just keep adding because the payday advance place kept trying to submit the check for payment until finally I was overdrawn $600.00 and now no longer have a checking account and I am still trying to pay both places back!

They will call you and send you letters and eventually turn you over to a collection agency. Once that happens your credit starts going down. You will never be able to go back to them.

I own one now too, and have been getting letters from a collection agency and it’s on my credit report.

Call them and see if you can get an extension, some will give a one time one week extension.

Unfortunatly, My ex got a title loan, and when he didn’t pay it on time…They repoed his car 3 days later. A year or so prior to that, he got a payday loan. When you don’t pay it in time, they try to automatically take it from your bank account. If the funds are not there, they keep trying until before you know it, you are in debt with the loan company,(which hurts your credit) AND with your bank. My ex now owes the bank about $500.00 in over draft fees and insufficiant funds charges.

They bank on people like you, it’s their bread and butter. Please never again use one of these places because they are the modern day loan sharks and once you are caught it’s really difficult to catch up financially.

You need to go in there and work something out. They will work with you because it means more money for them. Do not cancel your bank account because it will be a black mark on you and you might have difficulty opening a new account. Do not try and duck these people, they have all kinds of ways to affect your credit and you just don’t need that aggrivation on top of everything else!

Do whatever you have to do to get them satisfied now, and then do whatever you have to do to pay them off and get them out of your life forever. Good luck!
