A friend of mine is pregnant with twin boys and wants to get a home of her own for her and her children before the 2 little ones are born in August. Any suggestions on whom she can contact and get approved through?!

If she has bad credit she won’t get a loan (unless she has at least 20% down payment). Advise her to check with the local housing department for low-income apartments or save up and better her credit before she applies. Warning, if you apply and are turned down that hurts your credit even more.
In the past, having bad credit was no problem, That is what caused the housing market to go down the tubes, which lead to all the other financial mess we are in. Sorry. It looks like it ain’t going to happen for her in the near future. We are headed into a deep depression and the banks have quit lending to people with good credit. Those with bad credit are just SOL.
She can’t. Sounds like she should not be allowed to either. All the people that borrowed money and could not pay it back were in good part responsible for the mess we have now and your friend sounds like she fits into the category. The only way I can think of getting around her bad credit would be a huge down payment which I am guessing she doesn’t have. She is probably out of luck.
she must obtain not less than a 620 middle score as of today to get a mortgage
